The Channel Rotary Club’s Triathlon 2020

Fantastic news for the Folkestone Channel Rotary Club that their Triathlon Event 2020 will be taking place on Sunday 13th September!

Folkestone Channel Rotary has joined forces with South Kent Mind to raise funds for local mental health needs using Channel Rotary’s popular Channel Triathlon on 13th September from the Harbour Arm.  Also benefitting will be the Shepway Sports Trust which has linked with South Kent Mind to provide mental health training and support as part of its sporting and development programmes.  The Channel Triathlon is suitable for all levels of experience and the routes are carefully designed to make it a spectacle for the town and bring in triathletes and spectators from all over the south east.

The Channel Rotary will be donating part of the Tri entry fees to South Kent Mind! Additionally, participants can use the Triathlon to fundraise for their own favourite charities.

If you’d like to enter and be a part of this fantastic event and raise even more funds for South Kent Mind, visit the Channel Rotary Website for info on how to enter and access to sponsor forms.

This year, as well as the normal Sprint and Standard individual challenges there is also a Team Relay event – ( a good choice if you’d prefer not to swim!). Do let us know if you’d like to take part so that we can promote your fundraiser to help with your sponsorship.

The Folkestone Channel Rotary Club work extremely hard to organise events such as this to support good causes. Sincere thanks to the Club for choosing to support South Kent Mind for Triathlon 2020.
