Ricky’s Running for South Kent Mind

Ricky Yates is taking on the huge challenge of running the London Marathon 2021 in support of South Kent Mind. Ricky was fortunate to have won a ballot place in the London Marathon 2020 but, due to restrictions, it was not possible to go ahead with a mass socially distanced walk or run, therefore Ricky opted to postpone his place to 2021 rather than participate in the virtual London Marathon on 4th October 2020.

In preparation for his 2021 challenge, Ricky has run two 10k races, the Bewl Water half-marathon (pictured above) and is due to run the Kent Spring half-marathon on 4th October, as well as slotting in training runs in between!

I would greatly appreciate any donations no matter how small as this really can help make a BIG difference to people suffering with mental health problems. Without charities like Mind it would be hard to find the advice and support so as I’m sure you would agree this is a worthwhile charity.

Whether you can donate or not remind those you love or know that it’s OK not to be OK.
