On Friday 2 July senior school pupils and staff from Dover College donned their walking boots to take on a 15K challenge from Sandown Castle to Dover College in aid of South Kent Mind.  Seasoned walkers, this was their 20th walk for charity where they raised £1497 + £286 gift aid for South Kent Mind.

Thank you to pupils and staff at Dover College for organising this event. The funds raised will help enable us to continue to support people in our community with mental health problems.

Simon Dolby, CEO, South Kent Mind

South Kent Mind are here to make a difference to the lives of almost a quarter of a million people residing in the Folkestone and Hythe and Dover districts; an area spanning the coastline from Dungeness to Deal and covering over 250 square miles.

In another challenging year, it has never been more important to get involved and help make things better for everyone.

Without the generosity of local people, organisations and businesses, South Kent Mind would not be able to offer the incredible community support that many find indispensable.

If you’d like to follow in Dover College’s footsteps and support us via an event, find out how you can get involved. Alternatively, please contact the team on 01303 250090 or by email at contact@southkentmind.org.uk
