Yesterday, Mind members were creating work inspired by the Triennial 2021 theme ‘The Plot’ in their Creative Folkestone craft work session. This focussed on looking at the three historic Folkestone narratives and their journeys within cartography. Referring to the passages of movement, members created unique and personal maps of Folkestone and explored mark making through various printing techniques.
One of the Mind members got creative with their work using inspiration from the Triennial 2021 theme ‘The Plot’ in yesterday’s session with a beautiful display of art work below.
Our South Kent Mind mentor, Martin, used his inspiration of ‘The Plot’ to create his own unique map of Folkestone using various printing techniques.
