Goodnestone Park Gardens
The group explore in the garden

An insightful and inspiring visit to Goodnestone Park Gardens was had on Friday, exploring the many fauna and flora and historic buildings that inhabit the park. Mind members and our lovely group leader, Sharon, met up with head gardener Paul Bagshaw, who maintains the fifteen acre plot, to learn more about the stunning wildlife.

The group also enjoyed finding out about the historic house and benefitted from the wonderful walk in nature that is all around Goodnestone Park.

The park adventure has also brought good news for Mind members, as Goodnestone Park Gardens has invited back any Mind members who would like to volunteer to help support and maintain this beautiful eco-friendly garden. It is hoped that the volunteers will be able to participate in sustaining this glorious park and gardens in the Spring of 2022.

As well as helping the park and gardens flourish, being in nature can also support mental and physical wellbeing. Find out more about how nature can benefit mental health.
