Wednesday 10 November saw South Kent Mind clients learning to work with polymer clay at New Romney’s Teach Me Centre. Very well attended with 8 participants, the session proved to be therapeutic and uplifting, with many taking the opportunity to incorporate positive affirmations into their work such as happiness, love and hope.
South Kent Mind is very fortunate to be able to offer this opportunity to people living on the Romney Marsh, providing them with the opportunity to meet people from Folkestone, learn new skills, and find out more about South Kent Mind services.
The next session, on 24 November, sees participants making Christmas crafts out of wood, creating their own designs to take home as a keepsake or Christmas gift from their Teach Me experience!
- 24 November – Wooden sleigh/reindeer/angel
- 1 December – Pottery painting – moneyboxes, Santa plates
- 8 December – Christmas novelty planters
Join us after Mindfulness – 1.30 – 3.30pm – at The Teach Me Art Studio, 3 Cockreed Lane, New Romney TN28 8JH.
Please note these sessions are free of charge.
