A winter walk in New Romney
Such a great turn out for the South Kent Mind Nature walk at The New Romney Visitor Centre!

The weather could not have been better, so sunny and mild! There were signs of Spring, beautiful bird song and even daffodils! Everyone said how good it felt to be out in the fresh air and how lovely it was to walk and talk with others.
New Romney Visitor Centre is a lovely welcoming space with opportunities to volunteer in a community garden and a wealth of information around local wildlife and conservation. There is a lovely café and shop selling local products and the walk itself is very gentle taking just over 40 minutes at a relaxed pace.

There will be another opportunity to join South Kent Mind for a nature walk this coming Wednesday 26 January- meeting at 11am outside the café. Dogs are welcome just wrap up warmly and wear shoes you don’t mind getting just a little muddy.
Details on our wellbeing walks & other activities can be found via our calendar here.
