Another week, another artist! South Kent Mind’s art group recently took their inspiration from the American painter, Frank Stella. Members emulated the bold minimalism, colours and shapes of Stella’s works to create their own mini-masterpieces.
Creativity is beneficial to your mental health as it allows a space for expression and can boost your confidence, South Kent Mind’s art sessions aim to support the wellbeing of their members, providing them with the tools needed to reach their full potential.
This session was hosted by artist Charlotte Halsey-Tutt. Guided by Charlotte and Stella’s example, Mind member Amiee created this wonderful piece:
