South Kent Mind staged a Curry and Chat event at Dover’s Charlton Centre to raise awareness of its services.

Paul Babra, Karara Foods

The event attracted more than 50 people who met South Kent Mind staff and were able to learn about the charity’s Coping with Life programme, wellbeing activities and low cost Counselling service.

Paul and Rani Babra from Karara Foods created and donated the meals, as well as helping the charity’s staff to distribute them. Individuals from a number of Dover groups benefited from the donations including Dover Big Local, Emmaus and Bemix.

Simon Dolby from South Kent Mind said: “We are so grateful to Paul and Rani Babra for all their hard work and the support of the charity.”
