Members Code of Conduct

South Kent Mind supports those who are experiencing mental health problems, who may at times feel vulnerable, distressed, anxious or paranoid.

We promote a friendly, safe and supportive environment.

Members are therefore requested to behave in a tolerant, patient, respectful & kind manner to everyone at all times

Please note you may be excluded from the service if:

  • If you are under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed substances or you bring these into any of our facilities.
  • If your behaviour disrupts the smooth running of our facilities as a place of safety, respite and support for all the members.
  • If you are aggressive or abusive towards other members, volunteers or staff.
  • If you seek to sell cigarettes or any other items or seek to borrow money from other members.

If you have any concerns please ask to see a member of staff in confidence.
