The Mind Walk

On the first Saturday in July each year South Kent Mind is encouraging supporters to stage their own Mind Walk.

The Mind Walk is a fundraising event that asks supporters to get together, and to take on the fight for mental health out in the open. Supporters are encouraged to walk up to 10km in their local area on the first Saturday in July, along with their family and friends – flying the flag for better mental health.

South Kent Mind is asking supporters to try to raise at least £100 fundraising, but the focus is on encouraging your community to talk more about mental health and how we can all join the fight for better mental health.

What a fantastic opportunity to stage your own walk for family and friends on the first Saturday of July and help raise much-needed funds for South Kent Mind – helping support mental health in Dover, Deal, Folkestone, Hythe and Romney Marsh.

There is no registration but you may wish to get your fundraising off to a flying start by setting up an online fundraising team page that either participants can join or supporters can donate to quickly and efficiently.

Remember, when you link your online sponsor page to a charity you must select South Kent Mind – not just Mind – or the funds you raise will not support the work delivered in the Dover and Folkestone areas.
