Thriving on your support

The incredible work we do is down to the generosity of people and businesses in our community stepping forwards to support those who need help.  We always welcome income to help fund the services and activities we provide.

Where your money goes

All activities and services provided outside our core services, such as those which make up the Wellbeing Programme and Counselling Service, rely on donations, grants, and the fundraising efforts of our local Charity shops, and Centre staff and volunteers.  To sustain the current level of service requires us to raise in the region of £300,000 per annum.

Flexible donations

With the current restrictions making face to face donations challenging, we encourage all supporters to socially distance and donate online through our simple, safe and secure checkout partner, Now Donate.  The organisation does not charge us for this service, guaranteeing 100% of each donation comes to us.

You may wonder how much to donate? Here is an idea of how your donation could be spent.

  • £5 – 1 x craft pack for someone to participate within an art/craft group session
  • £20 – 1 x session of person centred planning
  • £25 – 1 x delivery of a Coping with Life workshop
  • £100 – Help towards the delivery of a Mindfulness course

Click on the button below and you can select the amount and frequency (one-off or regular weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly) of your donation.  You can also specify if it is for a particular appeal and leave a message.  All you will need is an email address and your card details.

DONATE HERE NOW

Please don’t forget to claim gift aid if you are eligible. It will increase your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you.

Regular Monthly Donations

South Kent Mind can achieve even more if we have a regular group of donors who make a monthly donation.  Please help – consider making a regular donation of £10 per month (or more) by clicking on the button below and in the ‘donation type’ box select ‘monthly’
