Release the Pressure
Free expert advice from trained counsellors is available for every mental health concern, including:
- low self-esteem

- suicidal thoughts.
Samaritans is a 24/7, confidential and non-judgemental emotional support service. You can talk to them anytime you like, and in your own way. They are here for anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those thoughts which could lead to suicide or self-harm.
The Folkestone, Dover & Hythe Samaritans are situated on Cambridge Gardens near the centre of Folkestone. They are a part of the national Samaritans charity but also work closely with people and organisations within the local community to improve the mental health of those on our doorstep. They are usually open during the week for face-to-face Callers and will be publishing our opening hours again once the coronavirus pandemic is over.
