Information and support

We’re South Kent Mind, the mental health charity, supporting mental health in Folkestone, Dover, Deal, Sandwich, Hythe & Romney Marsh. We’ll help you discover your pathway to better mental health. We offer:

  • support, signposting and information sharing
  • support to help you help yourself via workshops, courses and activities:
    • Coping with Life workshops
    • Mindfulness courses
    • Active Self
    • Creative Self
    • Social Self
  • a counselling service, should you need one-to-one talking therapy

You can self-refer to South Kent Mind if you’re experiencing or have experienced mental health problems and you live in Folkestone or Dover district.

Phone us on 01303 250090 or email us at contact@southkentmind.org.uk to book a telephone or face-to-face referral appointment. Our friendly and experienced Wellbeing Team look forward to welcoming you and discovering how they can support you on your journey to better mental health.

Once you are registered with South Kent Mind and have completed your referral, you will be able to participate in our activities. You can view the South Kent Mind activity calendar here.
