South Kent Havens

Safe Havens offer a crisis response and relief service and can help provide you with mental health crisis support during the evenings and weekends.

If you are in immediate danger then call 999 or one of the helplines listed on this page.

Folkestone & Hythe District

Are you an adult resident of Folkestone and Hythe district experiencing a mental health crisis?

You can contact the Folkestone Haven on any of the routes below and they will arrange for one of their Recovery Workers to get in touch with you.

They are open weekdays 6 pm to 11 pm and weekends/bank holidays from 12 pm-11 pm all year round.

The service is provided by Hestia and funded by the Roger de Haan Charitable Trust, Kent Community Foundation, and the NHS.

Dover & Deal District

Mental Health Matters operate safe havens in Thanet and Canterbury that residents of Dover and Deal district can access. Safe havens also operate in Medway and Maidstone. Call the number for the service closest to where you live:
