Activity calendar

Creative writing is a great way to boost wellbeing and can help to support mental health too. Creative writing promotes focus, creative ability and self esteem, as well as helping to organise and express thoughts and emotions on paper.

The creative writing group is a fun and comfortable environment to process and express thoughts, feelings and emotions in a productive and artistic way using the written word. Beginners welcome.

The creative writing group is held every Wednesday from 11am until 12.30pm at South Kent Mind, 3 Mill Bay, Folkestone, Kent CT20 1JS.

There are only a certain number of spaces in the face-to-face group, so please book early. To book, email contact@southkentmind.org.uk or phone 01303 250090. The group incorporates face-to-face creative writing sessions. For those who cannot attend in class, Mind members can also join via Zoom.

To become a Mind member please phone us on 01303 250090 or email us at contact@southkentmind.org.uk to book a telephone or face-to-face referral appointment.

Session leader Sharon supports clients both face to face and via Zoom during the workshop
