South Kent Mind walking groups

Click here for our activity calendar

South Kent Mind offer walking groups in Folkestone, Dover and Deal. Walking is a good way to relieve stress, anxiety and increase overall mental wellbeing. Walking can also improve mood, sleep quality and alleviate depression. The walking groups are supervised by a South Kent Mind volunteer who guides the group through a designated walking area.

Finding a new community to join has given me hope. The others who join the walking group accept me as I am and they all get it because they are dealing with similar challenges. Mind volunteer Sharon welcomes and includes everyone who comes and helps us get talking to each other.
