The purpose of the Social SELF programme is to:

  • Encourage physical activity
    • increase activity levels
  • Encourage participation in group activities
    • working collectively
    • social interaction
    • decrease isolation
  • Encourage participation in activities in the community
    • community integration
    • increase independent living

Example Activities

Activities within the Social SELF programme include:

  • Lunch in the Community
  • Board & Card Games
  • Seasonal Outings (Day Excursions)
